Hybridization Chambers
Press-To-Seal Hybridization Chambers For Microarrays & Microscope Slides
A uniquely designed CoverWell™ and HybriWell™ series of chambers which may be used for a wide range of applications including:
- Immunocytochemistry, in situ hybridization.
- Microarrays.
- Real-time images, live-cells, confocal imaging, thick or free-floating samples.
- Elevated incubation temperatures.
- Isolate cells/monolayers/smears.
- Use with transmitted light and fluorescence microscopes; by using microscope slides
and coverslips methods.
CoverWell™ and HybriWell™ are made from medical grade silicone, bonded to optically clear, UV
transparent polycarbonate.
Features:
- Ready-to-use – Easy to remove.
- Re-apply to wet or dry surface.
- Eliminate humidity chambers.
- Convenient size for every application.
- Vapor autoclavable/UV sterilizable.
- Overnight/Over-the-weekend incubations.
- Uniform focal plane for imaging and counting.
- Available with or without adhesive.

1. CoverWell Incubation Chambers
Come with coverslips no ports or adhesive. Ideally suited for
immunocytochemistry, in situ hybridization.
A holder for a water bath is available for high temperature
incubations.

CoverWell™ & Secure-
Seal™ Imaging Chamber
Features
- Press-to-seal CoverWells™ are reusable. The cover slip material is flexible and allows these chambers to be removed from the thinnest glass coverslips without breaking the glass.
- Peel-and-stick CoverWells™ are designed to form peeland- stick leak-proof enclosures for the permanent mounting of thick specimens.
- Secure Seal™ Spacers imaging chambers are ultra thin adhesive spacers, which peel-and-stick to coverslips or slides and they confine the specimen without any compression.
- It is possible to layer the spacers to custom build chambers to any depth desired. For high resolution microscopy sandwich
3. Perfusion Chambers
Comes with coverslips, 2 ports for each chamber, and no adhesive. Ideally suited to live cell imaging directly on upright or inverted microscopes at high magnification.
Features:
- They are removable, reusable, sterilizable, non-toxic, and inexpensive.
- These 'press-to-seal' chambers form a water tight, multi-well cell incubation or cytochemistry chamber when they are pressed to cover slips or microscope slides.
- Reagents can be quickly added and removed through dual access ports without disturbing or cross contaminating specimens.
- Available in five chamber configurations allowing up to eight different specimens or analytical tests on one coverslip.
- Removable for permanent mounting.

4.
CoverWell™ Secure-Seal™ Hybridization Chambers
RNASE FREE
Comes with coverslips, two ports for each chamber, and an adhesive back. RNase free and ready to use. Ideally suited for autoradiographic, fluorescent or chemiluminescent end-point protocols.
Secure-Seal™ hybridization chambers form peel-and-stick enclosures to isolate specimens affixed to glass microscope slides for hybridization assays on large or multiple specimens and genomic arrays on glass slides or Film-slides Sealable access ports in the chamber surface allow for the addition and removal of reactants. Leak-proof chambers are temperature resistant and eliminate evaporation.
Secure seal adhesive bonds chambers to glass in seconds and removes cleanly and easily after heating.

5. CoverWell™ Modular Hybridization System
An assortment of flexible, press-to-seal gasket and coverslip enclosures which can be quickly assembled and disassembled for the specialized challenges of hybridizing and imaging thick and free- floating specimens.
All steps - from permeabilizing to image analysis are made easy and trouble free with chambers you assembles from modular components.
For neural explants, plant or animal specimens of any texture and thickness.
Build up to three chambers on one microscope slide. Ideally suited for overnight hybridizations and
agitated washing steps. The screen is made from polyester and is 1.6mm square.

6. CoverWell™ Press-to-Seal Silicone Isolators
Isolators are available without coverslips, and ports. They are available with either:
- Silicone/silicone – press-to-seal silicone gasket only, no adhesive.
- Silicone/adhesive – press-to-seal silicone on one side and adhesive on the other side.
- Adhesive/adhesive – press-to-seal adhesive on both sides.
Ideal for isolating cells in culture dishes, and separate multiple specimens affixed to microscope slide.
Available in silicone thickness 0.5 to 2.5 mm pre-cut or as sheet material with or without secure seal clean release adhesive on one or both surfaces. Isolators remain sealed to smooth surfaces during washing steps. Nonadhesive isolators are autoclavable and reuseable.
