A sample of pesticide was imaged and analyzed by EDS. Until now, specimens such as these could not have been analyzed by EDS in their native form, and chemical analysis methods had to be used.

fiber blends in solution
The images show samples of pulp obtained from a commercial company. The sample was stained with 1% uranyl acetate for 30 minutes and imaged in QX-302. The images demonstrate the ability to image, and obtain fine details, of wood fibers and pulp in their wet environment.

Hollow styrene beads in a water based solution. Shape and size uniformity can be assessed.
