Wet T.brucei immunolabeled with anti-EP antibody

Fully hydrated Trypanosoma brucei were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde/0.04% glutaraldehyde for 20 min at room temperature. They were labeled with mouse anti-EP antibody and 30 nm gold conjugated anti-mouse IgG antibody. Attachment to the Poly-L-Lysine coated partition membrane was carried out after the labeling procedure.
