Application

Show differentiation of melanins and lipofuscins

Staining

1. Deparaffinize and hydrate to distilled water.
2. Stain 20 minutes in Nile Blue A Staining solution.
3. Rinse quickly with sulfuric acid, 1%.
4. Dehydrate immediately in four changes of acetone, 15 seconds each. Rinse in Xylene-acetone. Clear in two changes of Xylene.
5. Mount.
