DuPont™ MOLYKOTE® High Vacuum Grease is a durable, silicone material for lubrication. In addition to its many features and properties are several uses across a range of applications.

- Reduces wear in plastic-to-metal and rubber-to-metal contact
- Low volatility

Composition

Applications
- Lubrication of plug valves, control valves, flow meter bearings, ceramic plug gaskets, and seals in high temperatures
- Lubrication of O-rings in binoculars and telescopes – prevents fogging of lenses
- Sealing and lubrication of chemical processing equipment
- Sealing of vacuum and pressure system

Chemical resistance
DuPont™ MOLYKOTE® High Vacuum Grease finds no abnormal reactions to vegetable and mineral oils, or organic compounds and gases. It is resistant to most aqueous solutions of inorganic salts and to dilute acids and alkalies. Its solubility should be tested prior to use.
Storage
If stored at 30°C or below, the DuPont™ MOLYKOTE® High Vacuum Grease can have a shelf life of 5 years from the date of manufacture.
