CONDITIONS OF SALE

ORDERING

   • Orders must be in submitted in writing and sent to our email address:  [email protected] ; We no longer accept orders over the telephone.

   • No Minimum Order is Required.

   • Standing and blanket orders are encouraged. The benefits offered you on these types of orders are minimization of paperwork, quantity discounts and firm pricing for the period of the order regardless of price fluctuations in the market.

PRICING

Every effort will be made to keep prices firm, but they are subject to change without notice.
Unless instructed otherwise, we will ship items that have increased in price as long as the increase is no more than 10%. When any increase is greater than 10%, we will contact you for authorization to ship.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Orders will be shipped F.O.B. Hatfield, PA with transportation charges prepaid and added as a separate item on the invoice. All shipping charges are the exact cost of charges from the carrier that we have incurred.

We are pleased to announce that we accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and VISA for your convenience. Established accounts (existing customers who qualify) can be set up on Net 30 terms. Please call to make these arrangements in advance. Personal orders are welcome.

RETURN POLICY

Biolyst Scientific, the parent brand of Electron Microscopy Sciences and Azer Scientific, is committed to providing an excellent customer service experience and high-quality products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please follow the guidelines outlined in this policy to obtain a refund on your order.

GENERAL RETURN GUIDELINES

Refunds and Returns:
 All unopened items in pristine/resalable condition can be returned within 30 days of the date of invoice.
 Items must be free from all markings, labels, and in their original packaging.

Restocking Fee: Returns may be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. The original shipping charges
are not refundable.

Return Period: Returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of invoice.

Exceptions: The following products are not eligible for return.
   • Special Orders
   • Custom Products: All made-to-order, custom, and private label products
   • Final Sale Items: Orders designated as Final Sale
   • Bulk Orders: Orders designated as Bulk Orders
   • Equipment, Instruments, Sterile Items, Chemicals, Tweezers, and Forceps (due to possible contamination risks)

RETURN PROCESS

Return Authorization: Biolyst Scientific must be notified before any return can be made. A Return
Authorization (RMA) is required for all returns.

   • Obtaining RMA
        ο A Return Authorization must be obtained from our Customer Service Department before any return is made.
        ο Merchandise must be shipped within 10 business days of the issuance of the Return Authorization; otherwise, the Return Authorization will expire after which a new RMA must be requested if the item is still eligible for a return.

   • Unauthorized Returns
        ο If a return is received without authorization, Biolyst reserves the right to refuse credit.
        ο Unauthorized returns are not eligible for a full credit and a credit will be assigned at Biolyst’s discretion.

Authorization Details: To request an RMA, please provide the following information to our Customer
Service team: 
   • Company name / address
   • Original purchase order number
   • Invoice number or Sales Order number
   • Item and quantity to be returned
   • Reason for the return

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

   • Return Identification: All returns should have the respective RMA, signed by Customer
   • Packaging: All returns should be made in the original packaging whenever possible and overpacked to prevent damage in transit. Items damaged in transit will not be refunded and the shipper must file a claim with their freight carrier.
   • Return Labels: If the return is related to an error on our part, return shipping labels will be provided along with the Return Authorization.
   • Insurance: Unless the return is due to an error by Biolyst Scientific, the item is your responsibility until it is received at one of our facilities. We recommend using a traceable delivery service that insures the value of the goods.

CREDITS

   • Issuance: Credits will only be issued once the product has been received and inspected and determined to be in resalable condition.
   • Restocking Fee: Credit will only be issued for the cost of the product less the restocking fee. Shipping charges will not be credited.
   • Timing: Credits will be issued within 30 days after the product is received by Biolyst.

WARRANTIES

Biolyst Scientific will honor and facilitate all equipment warranties with the manufacturer according to their terms and conditions. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

All EMS products are offered for research work only and not for clinical, food, cosmetic, household, or drug use. We offer no warranty and accept no responsibility for their use.
