Here at Electron Microscopy Sciences we strive to offer you the best service, quality, pricing, and technical support that is possible. Management is always available to discuss any customer problems or suggestions. We can't fix a problem if we don't know about it. So, please feel free to call us with any comments about our products, technical staff, or customer service.
Online Shipping Estimates:
Our online shipping calculator offers estimates from a variety of shipping options available through our specially discounted UPS and Federal Express accounts. The calculation is based on your shipping location, the types and quantities of products you order, any hazardous material or special handling fees, and the turnaround requested for the delivery. If the estimate seems too high or too low and you think there could be an issue with the calculator, or you have any other concerns, send us a quote request or contact us to get more specific shipping information based on your needs.
Regulated Shipments:
The Department of Transportation enforces the rules and regulations regarding the packaging and shipping methods of regulated chemicals. Compliance to these regulations is mandatory. Therefore, a hazardous packing charge will be added to your invoice for only those materials requiring special packaging (Poison B's and extremely flammable). We will try our best to keep the expense to a minimum.
Special Handling or Packaging:
In addition to hazard fees, some of our items require special consideration, including:
- special packaging
- documentation
- labeling and handling
- quantity limitations
- shipping method restrictions
- shipping separately from other items
- bulky, heavy or freight delivery
- packaging in ice (requires overnight shipping).
The shipping calculator will add these additional costs into the estimate.

*To assure you the lowest possible shipping costs, we have set up special accounts with both UPS and Federal Express where you will benefit from our corporate discounts. Unless you otherwise specify, we will choose the most practical shipping method.
**DHL is available upon special request. Please provide a collect account number with your order. We do not ship DHL as a prepay. We do not have an account with DHL, therefore we do not have any special discounted rates.
