Forceps Warmer

Please remove your Forceps Warmer with caution to prevent damage. We recommend keeping all packaging material until the unit is running properly. In the case that there is any damage to the unit or the unit is not running properly, please contact Electron Microscopy Sciences immediately at 1-800-523-5874.

The Forceps Warmer requires no assembly.

Instructions

  1. Make sure that the electrical requirements of the outlet are in agreement with the electrical specifications, BEFORE plugging in. Failing to do so could cause error in operation or damage to the unit.
  2. Plug the unit into a standard three-wire grounded outlet.
  3. Push the control switch to the ON position. The switch will illuminate, indicating that the unit is on and running.
  4. Allow approximately 30 minutes for the warmer to reach appropriate melting temperature.

Note: Maintain a consistent line voltage between 118 and 120 to ensure constant flow to the heating element.

Note: Excessively warm or cool room temperatures could affect the temperature of the Forceps Warmer.

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE OUTER CASING OF THE FORCEPS WARMER WHEN OPERATING. PROLONGED CONTACT COULD CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY.

  1. When the Forceps Warmer is not in use, keep it in the OFF position, as electricity will be saved and the life of the Forceps Warmer will prolong.
