Properties
HRP Conjugate Diluent is designed to decrease cross-reactivity of peroxidase conjugate with human and mouse tissues and blood components, and to increase peroxidase stability. Instead of having to prepare a conjugate solution from the beginning every time, it allows one to prepare a stock, ready-to-use peroxidase conjugate solution, to increase the reproducibility of staining. The solution has a clear, colorless appearance.
Application
- Recommended for diluting secondary antibodies labelled with peroxidase to reduce background in IHC.
- It can also be used to prepare a stable ready-to-use solution of peroxidase conjugate to be used without loss of activity over time.
Use in IHC
- Dilute peroxidase-conjugated secondary antibodies to required working concentration.
Note: When preparing ready-to-use stock, please store it at +40°C (refrigerator) and use within 50 days.
Stability and Storage
- The preparation is stable for 2 years when stored unopened at +4°C
- Every lot is issued with an expiration date
- Once opened, use within 6 months and store at +4°C in the refrigerator
