Important update regarding Direct Thermal Cryo-Tags® and label templates

Direct Thermal Cryo-Tags® are not supported on the new Dymo LabelWriter® 550 models, but will continue to work with the Dymo LabelWriter® 450.

These templates are compatible with the Dymo LabelWriter® 450 and Dymo Label Software up to Version 8.7.3. Dymo Connect Software is currently NOT compatible.

The GoDEX DT200 Direct Thermal Printer is being offered for those looking for an alternative to the LabelWriter® 550 that is also compatible with Direct Thermal Cryo-Tags. There are currently 2 options for software and templates:

1. GoLabel, which is native to the GoDEX DT200, is compatible with PCs but not Macintosh.
2. Label LIVE, which must be purchased separately, but is compatible with both PCs and Macs. Label LIVE is also compatible with the Dymo Labelwriter® 450.

DYMO Label Software Version 8.7.3 Templates for Mac

For Mac Users

Step One: Install Dymo LabelWriter software per the instructions you received with the printer. Software should be version 8 or higher. To download software go to DYMO. If you have already done this, skip to step two.

Step Two: Download the above file (DTCR Templates for the Mac)

Step Three: Drag or Copy and Past the file to the following location: HD>Users>'Username'>Documents>Dymo Label Software In newer operating system versions open the finder and place the file in Documents>Dymo Label Software

Step Four: Open the Dymo label Software.

Step Five: Click on the Labels tab at the left and select "Custom." This will allow you to select the appropriate template by catalog number.
