The Low Profile Cryo Grid Box Lid is made of anodized aluminum and is screwed on and off of the grid box with a hex key/allen wrench. Now you can stack two grid boxes and lids in one pocket of a cryoEM grid storage puck, doubling your storage capacity. The anodized aluminum is highly robust, and is less susceptible to static electricity than plastic lids.
