Sample vials with a captive snap closure, flat bottom cylindrical vials with a friction-fit, flip-top closure which can not be lost. These vials are unbreakable and can withstand temperatures up to 90°C. The wall thickness is approximately 1 mm and these vials are ideal for use as a specimen container for the storage of small samples, or as embedding capsules.
