Compact tabletop design fits easily in any histology lab
The Digital Paraffin Block Trimmer efficiently removes excess paraffin from embedding tissue cassettes, including all sizes of biopsy and mega cassettes. The heated, grooved surface directs melted wax into a collection tray that is magnetically held in place at the base of the unit. Five plastic liners are included for placement inside the collection tray, allowing easy disposal of melted wax. Temperature is controlled digitally within a range of 80˚–120°C (176˚–248°F).
