Alpha particles are non-penetrating, stopped completely by a thin sheet of paper or a few inches of air. By ionizing the air in the immediate vicinity of the film, lens, etc., a conductive path is provided through which the static change is safely and effectively grounded.

This 1" model cleans negatives, mounted or unmounted transparencies, cameras, and smaller enlarging lenses. It is ideal for use with 35mm or 21⁄4" x 21⁄4: film formats. In addition, this model is perfect for removing static and dust from the inside of cameras as well as other equipment. Brush of soft, natural hair removes dust and lint.
The 3" model cleans large areas quickly and effectively. Its brush is retractable to just a desired length.
